COMPACT DISC HARROW
Vomer has designed two disc systems of compact disc harrows depending on the work, to satisfy the needs of all customers. The CultiDISC allows for works at greater depths and with high number of superficial residues. On the other hand, the CultiDISC-LT, equipped with smaller discs, allows for a greater cut capability as the discs turn at a greater speed.
The superficial work on weeds of the CultiDISC-LT, mixes efficiently the soil, the residues and the weeds to favor its decomposing. This work is made at a higher speed, which decreases the cost by hectare significantly.
The range CultiDISC LT represents an alternative to plows in preparation for sowing. Designed to work at a high speed, it allows for preparation of the sowing in the right moment. Contrary to traditional plows, CultiDISC-LT allows for continuous work, without stopping to change spears or grills. The finishing result is homogeneous and guarantees the perfect conditions for sowing.

The trailed CultiDISC LT MOTION
Conceived for the CultiDISC-LT range, the trailed equipment of the MOTION series offers a series of advantages, both on the field and in transport. The most significative is the good use of the power and the capabilities of the tractor, translated in an increase of productivity and a decrease of fuel costs.
One of the main characteristics of the CultiDISC LT MOTION equipment is the robust high-quality steel chassis. The inferior part of the frame is completely welded to avoid for loose screws or elements to generate wear and tear, effects that can come up when working at high speeds. The superior part is designed without welded bars, these elements allow for extra flexibility suitable for these areas subjected to high tension. The design of the whole equipment makes it highly resistant, but at the same time it allows for certain flexibility to support higher loads.
The arm of the discs come in reinforced speed, giving great durability. The location of the hub and the disc is designed to maximize the passing of material and residue through them. The arms are built on rubber elastomer, elements that enlarge the life of the rest of the components, and reduce the transmission of vibrations to the chassis.
Our trailed equipment is designed to make the maneuverability easier. The central position of the wheels, not only increases the operability of the whole machine, but equilibrates the weights, making it stable even at high speed. The CultiDISC LT MOTION doesn’t swing, and the asymmetric position of the discs guarantees that it doesn’t skid. The depth is regulated in a single point hydraulically. Clips can also be used, to make regulation easier.
The Cambridge and Flat rollers incorporate the exclusive SHOX* technology, that allows a perfect adaptation of the roller to the terrain, vertically and laterally, as well as an improvement of the performance at high speeds with such heavy rollers.
